What are they? These are aluminium framed and plastic hinged doors which offer complete protection.
Sizes and Colours? Maximum size is 100 x 220cm (There is also an Economy Plus version which is 120 x 240) which can be reduced to fit a smaller doorway. White aluminium with charcoal fibreglass fly screen material.
Easy to Fit? Please see the instructions here. It is simple to construct, but does require some DIY competence in that you can measure, saw and drill. Making the frame is easy because the corners ensure a 90 degree angle. You simply have to cut the metal to size with a hacksaw or electric mitre saw. The material is held in place with the supplied black rubber spline using the pusher tool. The excess material is then trimmed with a craft knife. Please note when you are fitting the Fly Door on the outside of your property please ensure that your frame is deep enough to accommodate a shut door and its handle. If you don’t want the fly door to be ajar, either replace the handle with a slimmer one or build out the door frame so that the Fly Door can be shut.

Easy to Use? Yes it operates just like a normal door, it is pushed open and secured by two magnetic catches and the self-closing spring on the hinges see below.
