What Is It?

Replacement mesh for the wind deflector screens fitted behind the seats in open-top convertibles. Over time the original mesh tears, sags or disintegrates - this is the material to restore it.

Cut to the size of your deflector frame, staple or glue into place, and it's good as new. Works on most convertibles - MX-5, MG, Golf Cabriolet, Audi TT, Peugeot 306, and many more.

Which Mesh?

Grey Material (£14.99) - standard 18x16 fibreglass mesh. Blocks flies, wasps and common insects while allowing airflow. Matches the look of most original wind deflector mesh.

Midge Mesh (£6.99) - finer 18x30 weave. Ideal if you spend time in Scotland or areas with midges. Finer mesh, same durability.

Both are supplied as 1.2m x 60cm - enough material to re-mesh most standard wind deflectors, often with some to spare.

How to Fit

Remove the old mesh from the frame, cut the new material to size, and attach using a staple gun, contact adhesive or spline depending on how your deflector is constructed. Most jobs take under an hour.
