What Are They?

Simple two-piece door coverings insect screen that completely cover the area to stop flies, spiders, mosquitoes and other insects getting into your home. Each kit includes two overlapping pieces of polyester mesh that hang from a self-adhesive strip across the top of your door frame.

Available in white or charcoal, these lightweight screens are ideal for back doors, kitchen doors, patio doors, or any internal doorway where you want to let the breeze in but keep the bugs out.

Easy to Fit?

Yes. If you can use a tape measure, scissors and peel off adhesive backing, it will be easy. No drilling, no screws, no tools needed beyond a pair of scissors.

Stick the adhesive hook tape across the top of the door frame (inside)

Overlap the two pieces of mesh material and attach to the hook tape

The whole job takes around 10–15 minutes. The adhesive hook tape can be removed later without damaging the door frame.

Easy to Use?

Yes - you just walk through them. The two overlapping pieces part naturally as you pass through, then fall back together behind you. Walk through the left or right hand side, and the overlap closes after you.

Pets can learn to use them too, though for heavier pet traffic we'd recommend a magnetic door screen or panel door instead.

Material: Polyester mesh, washable at 30°C, lightly weighted with string at the bottom hem

Suitable For

Domestic environments. As a budget solution, the Lightweight Screen is fine for seasonal or occasional use. For a longer-term solution, consider a Panel Door, Roller Door, or Chain Door.

Not to be attached to exterior door frames. These screens are designed for interior use where they are protected from wind and weather.
