What data we collect

When you place an order

Orders are processed by FoxyCart (flyscreenqueen.foxycart.com). When you buy from us, FoxyCart collects your name, delivery address, email address, telephone number, and payment details. We receive your name, delivery address, email, and order details. We do not receive or store your card details - payments are handled securely by FoxyCart and their payment processor.

When you contact us by email

We receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry. If your enquiry leads to an order, we will retain this information as part of the order record.

Website analytics and visitor behaviour

To understand how visitors use our website and improve it, we use the following tools:

Lumara Analytics (analytics.lumara.digital) - cookieless aggregate analytics covering page views, referrers and approximate region. Does not track individual users.
Plausible Analytics (plausible.lumara.digital) - cookieless aggregate analytics. Does not track individual users.
Google Analytics 4 - uses cookies to measure visit volumes, sources and on-site behaviour. IP addresses are anonymised by Google. Data is processed by Google in line with their privacy policy.
Microsoft Clarity - uses cookies to record anonymised session replays and produce heatmaps so we can see where visitors click, scroll and get stuck. Form fields and other sensitive elements are masked. We do not see passwords or payment details. Data is processed by Microsoft in line with their privacy statement.

We use this data to improve the website's content, navigation and product pages. We never combine it with order data to identify individual customers.

How we use your data

Order fulfilment - your name and address are used to dispatch your order.
Order communication - your email is used to confirm your order and provide dispatch/tracking information.
Customer service - your contact details are used to respond to queries and handle returns.
Marketing - we will only contact you with marketing emails if you have given explicit consent. You can opt out at any time.

Legal basis for processing

How long we keep your data

Order records are retained for 7 years to comply with HMRC record-keeping requirements. Email enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 2 years. Analytics data is aggregated and contains no personal information.

Lumara Analytics and Plausible do not use cookies.

All third-party processors are required to handle data in accordance with UK GDPR. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics process some data outside the UK (primarily within the EU/US); both operators are bound by approved data transfer mechanisms (Standard Contractual Clauses).
