Each product page has a fitting video and specific instructions for that product. Below are the general guides by product type. If you have any questions, email us with photos and we will help.

Lightweight & Magnetic Door Screens

  1. Clean the door frame where the hook-and-loop tape will attach. Use the wipes provided if included.
  2. Cut the hook tape to length and press firmly to the inside of the door frame on the hinge side and top.
  3. Attach the loop tape to the edges of the screen panel.
  4. Press the screen into position on the frame and smooth out any creases.
  5. Check the magnets align in the centre seam if fitted.

Do not cut or trim the screen. The weighted hem and magnet strips sit inside the mesh - trimming will damage the function.

Panel Flyscreen Doors

  1. Assemble the aluminium frame sections using the corner pieces provided.
  2. Stretch the mesh over the frame and press into the spline channel.
  3. Use the spline roller to press the spline strip firmly into the channel, stretching the mesh as you go.
  4. Trim any excess mesh flush with a sharp knife.
  5. Fit the door into the opening using the track system or hook-and-loop tape as specified for your model.

Watch the product video on the product page for a demonstration of the spline fitting method.

Aluminium Hinged Door

  1. Fix the hinge side of the frame to the door frame with the screws provided.
  2. Fit the door closer spring to the top hinge.
  3. Hang the door on the hinges.
  4. Adjust the door closer tension with the adjustment screw until the door closes firmly but not too hard.
  5. Fit the magnetic catch on the latch side if included.

Window Screen Kits

  1. Measure your window opening carefully - width and height inside the frame.
  2. For magnetic kits: attach the magnetic strips to the window frame and the mesh panel edges, then press together.
  3. For hook-and-loop kits: attach hook tape to the frame and loop tape to the mesh panel.
  4. For framed kits: assemble the aluminium frame, fit the mesh with the spline as above, and clip or screw into the window recess.

Mesh Material (DIY Re-mesh)

  1. Remove the old mesh from your existing frame by pulling out the spline with a flat screwdriver.
  2. Cut the new mesh slightly larger than the frame opening.
  3. Lay the mesh over the frame, starting at one corner.
  4. Use a spline roller to press the spline and mesh into the channel. Work opposite sides to keep the mesh taut.
  5. Trim excess mesh flush with the frame using a sharp knife.

Chain & Strip Curtain Screens

  1. Fix the header rail to the top of the door frame using the screws provided.
  2. Hang the chain or strip curtain onto the header rail hooks.
  3. Trim individual strips or chains to length if required (strip screens only).

For the commercial chain screen, ensure the rail is fixed securely - the screen is heavier than the domestic version.
